Baker Park
2000 S. Main St., New Castle
Directions: Located on the east side of New Castle Chrysler High School.  Take Trojan Lane / Q Ave. east from St. Rd. 3.  Park is situated between Parkview Ave. and Trojan Lane.
Featuring picnic areas/shelters, playground equipment, ball diamonds, horseshoe pits and walking/running area.

Henry County Memorial Park
2221 N. Memorial Dr., New Castle - (765) 529-1004
Hours: Open daily, 8am-11pm.
Directions: Located on the west side of North Memorial Dr. (State Rd 3) between State Rd 38 and US Hwy 36.
Memorial Park is a 362-acre park with the W.G. Smith Building, a rustic shelter house, and three log cabins all available for rent. There are also 18 open picnic shelters and picnic tables scattered throughout the park. The park has two softball diamonds, three tennis courts, one basketball court, five volleyball courts, and several soccer fields, horseshoe pits, playgrounds, fishing, and nature trails. Paddle boats also available for rent.

Summit Lake State Park
5993 N. Messick Rd., New Castle - (765) 766-5873
Hours: Open daily.
Directions: Located on Messick Rd. east of State Rd 103 and north of US Hwy 36.
An expansive view and good fishing will beckon you to Summit Lake State Park. Activities include:  
boating (rental boats are available), fishing, and swimming on an 800 acre lake; camping in a 125 site Class A campground; hiking on three trails; group activities led by their naturalist service; cultural arts programs; and excellent bird watching.

Westwood Park
1900 S CR 275 W, New Castle - (765) 987-1232
Hours: Open daily.
Directions: Located on Country Road 275 West, south of State Rd 38.
This park has a brand new 10 mile mountain bike trail (one of the best in Indiana) for those who like to go off-road when they bike.   
Horse lovers can take advantage of the 6.5 mile horse trail (horse trailer parking available).  A small modern campground (with 38 campsites) is located near the 180 acre lake and is open from May through October. Fishing is excellent for bass, sunfish, crappie and channel catfish (electric trolling motors only).  Ice fishing is a favorite activity in the winter.  Picnicking, playgrounds, shelter houses and play fields are some of the day use activities to be found. Some facilities are handicapped accessible. A new conference facility is available for rent (up to 50 people occupancy.

Wilbur Wright State Fish & Wildlife Area
2239 N. SR 103, New Castle - (765) 529-9581
Hours: 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (office); Park is open year round.
Directions: Located on both sides of State Rd 103 between State Rd 38 and US Hwy 36.
  This is a 1400-acre facility featuring bluegill, bass, and trout  
fishing and deer, upland game, dove, squirrel, woodcock, and waterfowl hunting.
 
Allen Park
Located in Sulphur Springs featuring ball diamonds, community building.
 
Dietrich Park
Middletown. Located on Fall Creek just off off of Raider Road. Features several baseball and softball diamonds, picnic facilities, a paved walking path, playground, fishing on Fall Creek, and a community building.
 
Lewisville Park
US 40, Lewisville.
 
Osborne Park
27th & Washington Streets, New Castle. Offers visitors picnic areas, playgrounds equipment, a football field, , tennis courts, basketball court, softball diamonds, and walking trails.
 
Sunset Park
Hill Avenue, Knightstown. Offers public swimming pool, shelter house rental, open shelters for large or small gatherings, charcoal grills, playground equipment, public fishing, ball diamonds. Home to the Knightstown Optimist Youth Baseball and Softball programs. Knightstown Babe Ruth Baseball program.
